Making A Duck Tape Dress Form

Heres a quick how to on making
Duck Tape Dress Form

More Dress Form Ideas here:
Dress Forms
Materials:

Duck Tape
1 to 2 rolls of 60 foot rolls of wide duck tape

An Over-sized Tshirt
The length of the shirt will determine the length  of the dress form

Paper or Stuffing
Newspaper Wrapping paper, or stuffing to stuff the dress form with

Scissors

Youll need these to cut the tape unless your good at tearing it.

Plastic Wrap
This will protect your skin on your neck area.

Help From a Friend
It really helps to have someone wrap you in the duck tape, it becomes difficult if you do it by yourself.

Time to make:
2-3 hours

Thanks to Threads Magazine and Taunton Press.com for this idea!!
Put On your over-sized T-shirt. Grab your friend and the duck tape, and have them help you wrap yourself in duck tape, relax while you do it, it does get rather uncomfortable if you are wrapped to tightly. And in some cases it becomes hard to breathe. So be careful and dont wrap too tightly- just make it fit snuggly.

When you get to your neck area, wrap any of your skin in the plastic wrap, this will act as a barrier between you and the duck tape. Be Carful and dont choke yourself.

Once your covered, reinforce any areas you need to with duck tape.

Once you feel you have a good form, cut down the middle of the back, do not cut yourself or your undergarments! Just take it slow, once your form is off, you can tape up the cut area.

Tape over your arm holes. Be careful not to bend them to much, you can even use cardboard underneath the hole if you prefer. But you can do it just fine without it.

Once your arm holes are covered, start stuffing the form with wrapping paper, stuff tightly but not so much that you loose your form.

Once your form is filled up, you can tape the neck hole shut, if you want- you can add a cool topper, curtain rod ends, or an old door knob will work.

To tape the bottom shut, I suggest using a tube and sticking it down the middle of your form, the hollow tube will allow for you to either have the form sitting on a stand or on a table.  But if you dont want to bother with a stand, you can just tape the whole bottom shut. I also used a heavier paper here to reinforce the bottom. if you are using stuffing, I would use some cardboard.
And with that, your done. You know have a dress form that is an exact replica of your body.
